Pollution

Image
Pollution Pollution is a huge problem in today's world affecting, 100 million people!  Americans make up an estimated 5% of the world's population. However, the US uses 25% of the world's resources - burning up nearly 25% of the coal, 26% of the oil, and 27% of the world's natural gas. Each year 1.2 trillion gallons of untreated sewage, stormwater, and industrial waste are dumped into US water. Many millions of people use their car every single day. Using a bicycle would be a much, much better alternative since you won't be polluting the Earth,it would reduce your prices on petrol and diesel and would cost a lot less money. Let's do whatever we must do to save this planet from this horrible spreading disease and light up the world! Not of course with your car headlights!

Conserving water

Conserving water Water is becoming a big problem on this planet. Many, many people in this world do not have access to clean healthy drinking water.663 million people live without safe water, 2.4 billion people don't have access to sanitation, over 315,000 children die every single year caused by unsafe water, that's almost 900 children a day. The average American house hold uses 400 gallons of water everyday! We might not be able to do much about this rising problem but, we can do our part by: Not leaving the tap on while we brush our teeth Having short showers Using a bucket when you have a bath Don't run the dishwasher or washing machine until it is full

Recycling

Recycling Recycling is in the most simple terms, reusing our waste products such as, cereal boxes, toilet paper rolls, soda cans and more. If we recycle our products there will be less garbage in the land fills. If we don't recycle, all of our garbage will be picked up by the garbage trucks. Then the garbage trucks will collect all of our garbage products and dump them into the land fill. More and more waste is being piled up in the land fills every single day. Harmful chemicals and greenhouse gasses are released from rubbish in landfill sites.  Recycling  helps to reduce the pollution caused by waste. Habitat destruction and global warming are some the affects caused by deforestation. We can make anything from recycling. Look at these examples. They have made a bag from Kool aid wrappers, They have made a pouch from keyboard keys and many, many more.
